Dr. Botstein has been a practicing physician for over 20 years. Born in Brooklyn, NY, and educated in the New York City Public School System. "Dr. Sandi" attended Harvard University for college and graduated cum laude. After college, she lived in NYC and worked in the music industry while building a career as a singer and an artist. She returned to her love of science and attended medical school at S.U.N.Y. Downstate, then came south for residency at UNC. She is married and has one daughter and continues to fulfill her passion for music and art.
