Richard Musselwhite researches continental philosophy, religions in South Asia, and the normative affects of global governance on the organization of religious enterprises. Working historically, literarily, and ethnographically, Professor Musselwhite analyzes how religious organizations exercise authority among adherents and their wider social worlds. In the classroom, Dr. Musselwhite improves critical thinking skills through intensive writing exercises in all of his courses, including ethics, world religions, and first-year composition.
