Married to Alma, native of Richmond, Virginia and currently Associate General Counsel at Walmart U.S.A. Legal, Bentonville, Arkansas. Two daughters, Joi in New York and Joy in Denton, Texas. Background and experience in academic administration, higher education HR, EEO, and Affirmative Action, and perfomred as mass communication adjunct faculty that includes UCLA, Langston University, Prairie View A&M University, Cal State University, Fresno; the Arkansas Department of Higher Education, Caltech/NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory, University of California/Department of Energy/Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, British Aerospace, the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, and the Dallas County Community College District.
