Dr. Cuellar is Lead Faculty of the CIS area and a member of the Graduate Programs and Intellectual Contributions Committees of the School of Business. He is also lead of the ad-hoc committee responsible for developing the Integrated Management aspects of the School ob Business Strategic Plan.
Biography
Michael J. Cuellar is an Assistant Professor of Computer Information Systems at North Carolina Central University. His research focuses on the areas of project management, outsourcing and social theory for Information Systems. He has substantial experience in industry having held management positions for EDS and American Software managing software product development and infrastructure services, as well as systems management sales. He has published papers at conferences and journals such as JAIS, the e-Services Journal and the European Journal of Operational Research, ICIS, AMCIS, and the International Research Workshop on IT Project Management. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Information Systems Education and secretary of the AIS Project Management SIG. He is a member of the Association for Information Systems and the Academy of Management.
