Myongsin Choi received her Master of Fine Arts in Hong Ik University in Seoul, Korea. After that she received her Master of Arts at New York University. Now, she is an Adjunct Lecturer at North Carolina Central University and teaches Ceramics 1 and 2, 3-D design, and Sculpture 1 and 2.Choi has been an Artist in resident at the Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts in Edgecombe, Maine. From then she moved to New Jersey and was a visiting Professor at Rutgers State University. Choi has had numbers of both solo and group exhibitions. Some including, the Public Project Outdoor Sculpture which is currently in Seoul, Korea and also has had exhibitions held at New York , Rutgers University and Duke University. Choi's work is part of many private and corporate collections. She has also had various workshops held in San Diego, California, Maine, and in Raleigh, North Carolina.
