Dr. Hazel is originally from New York City. She graduated from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed her residency training at the University of Maryland. She is Board Certified Family Physician and she completed a Faculty Development Fellowship at UNC Chapel Hill. She enjoys all aspects of student health and has a special interest in women's health issues. She is married and a proud mother of a beautiful baby girl. She enjoys tennis, reading, and arts and crafts.
