Kimneshonda T. Chavis is the Distance Education Coordinator in the Department of Human Sciences at North Carolina Central University. Ms. Chavis holds a Bachelor of Science in Family & Consumer Sciences from North Carolina Central University. She holds a highly qualified North Carolina Department of Public Instruction Professional Educators licensure for Birth through Kindergarten. Ms. Chavis also holds a Master of Arts in Education specializing in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Phoenix. Ms. Chavis creates and coordinates articulation agreements with all of North Carolina community colleges. She also recruits high school students who are interested in the Human Sciences field. Ms. Chavis teaches practicum courses for the Early Childhood Education (B-K) program.
