Clinical Counselor for students, and Outreach Coordinator for campus and community projects related to mental health.


A native of Queens, New York ("Queensbridge"), Ms. Grandy is a first-generation college graduate and two-time alumna of North Carolina Central University. Presently, Ms. Grandy is completing her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counseling and Administration at East Carolina University. Ms. Grandy's goals are educating counseling students, provide training on mental health issues, and conducting research in the areas of multicultural/diversity, Spirituality, counseling ethics, and counselor development. Ms. Grandy is an old school hip-hop historian, and enjoys watching and participating in all forms of dancing (e.g. Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballet). Ms. Grandy co-advises the student organization, Project SUCCESS (Students Uplifting & Creating Change through Education and Support Services).
