• Research and develop challenging materials for online and classroom instruction.
• Integrate professional counseling ethical mandates with classroom learning outcomes.
• Provide supervision for master’s level Counselor Education students.
• Coordinate practicum experiences with site supervisor, including site visits.
• Consult with counselor education faculty to insure quality internship, practicum and instructional experiences meeting Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs requirements (CACREP).
• Facilitate group and individual supervision meetings, including audiotape and videotape critiques.
• Develop clinical supervision course to meet needs of the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors.
• Advise students on course selection.
• Serve on departmental committees.
• Participate in conferences and professional development activities.
• Participate in departmental extra-curricular activities.
• Assist students with conference presentation development.
• Serve on thesis committees.
• Engage in scholarly writing.
