Biography

Eric is a native of Durham, NC. He has lived most of his life in North Carolina, except for a few years in Baltimore, MD. He grew-up in the foothills of this state and obtained undergraduate degrees at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and UNC-Greensboro. His Master's in Library Science is from North Carolina Central University.

Eric joined the staff of NCCU in June of 2008, where he worked as an assistant in the Government Documents Department located within James E. Shepard Library until December of 2017, when he became Government Documents/Reference Librarian. He is and always has been very proud and happy to be a member of the NCCU community.

Eric has formally worked in the stacks in other libraries. He has also worked in the mental health field, as well as the education field where he was a teacher in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
