Dyann graduated from Spelman College with a B.S. degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. as part of the 3/2 Engineering program with Georgia Tech. She decided to develop a professional career in two areas of her love, medicine and engineering. The result was pursuit of a career in medical technology. After 1 year rotation at Moses H. Cone in Bacteriology, she moved on to the highly honored L. Richardson Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. As a generalist, she distinguishes herself by leading the NCCU laboratory to successful accreditation. Dyann has worked at NCCU in Student Health since 1994. In her spare time she enjoys culinary arts, suduko, scrabble and travel.
