Deidre Kelly earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Niagara University in New York. She is currently completing an Executive Master of Public Administration degree at North Carolina Central University. Before joining NCCU, Kelly served as the media relations manager and acting director of public affairs for seven years at the State University of New York at Potsdam. She also has experience as a reporter and photographer for the Courier-Observer Newspaper.
