Dehavalyn Black currently serves as the Assistant Dean for Strategic Initiatives for the North Carolina Central University School of Business. Prior to joining North Carolina Central University, Dehavalyn served as the Special Assistant to the President of Bennett College for Women, as well as the Director of Strategic Initiatives for the institution. She has over 12 years of Strategic Planning, Finance, Marketing Research, Process Reengineering, Data Analytics, and Business and Competitive Intelligence experience.
