Chinasa Nworu is of African descent and originally from Newark, NJ. He obtained a bachelors degree in Communications from Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ, and masters degree in Education from Temple University in Philadelphia, Penn. During his time working in education, he has been an outspoken student advocate emphasizing student retention, graduation rates and overall academic/professional success for minority male students. As Assistant Director for the Centennial Scholars Program, he interacts, supervises, counsels and mentors scholars on a very sincere and personal level. He will play a major role with the CSP students overall college experience outside of the classroom. He is looking forward to working with CSP students, CSP staff, stakeholders and the university as a whole to ensure each CSP member succeeds and reaches his full potential.
