Carol Gibbs graduated from Duke University with a BS in Zoology in 1991. She attended UNC- School of Medicine for medical school and for her residency in psychiatry, which she completed in 1999. She has a private practice in Durham, NC and works for NCCU Student Health and Counseling Services as a consultant. She is married and lives in Cary, NC with her husband and their two sons.
