Biography

Mr. Floyd currently teaches Printmaking, Computer Graphics and Advertising Design. He has also taught classes in Design as a visiting professor at Meredith College and North Carolina State University.

Mr. Floyd was awarded a public arts commission at North Carolina A&T State University through the North Carolina Arts Council. His prints have been included in exhibitions at each of the art schools in the Union of Independent Colleges of Art. He has also exhibited nationally and his work is a part of several public and private collections.

Since 1989 Mr. Floyd has operated a free-lance graphic design and illustration practice in the Research Triangle. His clients have included the Monsanto Company, Duke University Medical Center, Furman University, Health and Human Services of North Carolina, the North Carolina Museum of History and the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
