In addition to his administrative duties, Aneil is a Professor in the School of Business. His teaching interests include leadership, organizational change and design, and managing teams. His current research focuses on how leaders and teams build trust for lasting positive results.
He is the coauthor of two books with his wife Karen Mishra, Trust is Everything: Become the Leader Others Will Follow (2008), and Becoming a Trustworthy Leader ? Psychology and Practice (2013, Routledge Press).
Aneil has published his research in a number of leading scholarly and practitioner journals, including the Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Sloan Management Review, Organization Science, Human Resource Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Industrial and Labor Relations Review, Group & Organization Management, the Academy of Management Executive, Medical Care Research and Review, and The Milbank Quarterly. He is a founding Associate Editor of the Journal of Trust Research, a Founding Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Human Potential Development, and previously served on the editorial boards of the Journal of Organizational Behavior, the Journal of Applied Behavioral Science and the Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education.
