Students apply for selection in the program in November of the sophomore year. The athletic training education program has a selective admissions process; a student may meet all of the requirements and not be selected into the program based on the number of students applying for selection into the program.

PEDU 2300, PEDU 3301, PEDU 3302, PEDU 4303 and PEDU 4304 are clinical classes that require a minimum of 150 clinical hours per semester.
