Program Description

NCCU’s Department of Nursing offers a Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree for veterans with medical experience. The option offers specialized support in an innovative and accelerated educational program. The program is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HRSA). Veterans from any military branch, who has health experience or training may apply. Each transcript is reviewed by a Professional Academic Advisor to determine credit received. Some courses may be waived (given credit for) or some courses may be “exempt” due to successful performance of a test, which may be written, skills or both. Please visit the Office of Student Support Services (OSS) 9 am – 4 pm to make arrangements to meet with an advisor or have additional questions answered.
