Career Services is committed to partnering with you to ensure student success inside and outside of the classroom. What follows is a list of services and resources we provide to help support all of the vital work you do for our students.
Eagle Career Network
Eagle Career Network is our 24/7 career resource center for students. Students are able to search for jobs and internships online, access career information, and rsvp for events. If you would like to use Eagle Career Network to advertise internships, jobs, and other information, please create an account today. For assistance, please contact Monica Stuckey.
Every fall Career Services hosts a Student Employment Fair to help students seeking work aid or part-time positions. If you have a work aid position, participating in our Student Employment Fair is a great way to recruit students. Departments are also encouraged to post work aid positions on Eagle Career Network. Our office processes employment forms for bi-weekly work aid students. For more information on hiring a work aid student, please contact Monica Stuckey.
Professional Development Network Conference (PDN)
Career Services is excited to work with faculty and staff to direct students to our Professional Development Network Conference and Certification program. Our PDN Conference is a great way to get your students prepared for internships and career opportunities. In the past, Career Services has partnered with academic units to provide to streamline professional development for their students; and we invite those partnerships across the campus.
If you are interested in learning more about partnering, please contact Catrina DosReis.
Internships and Co-Ops
Our office assists campus departments in coordinating experiential learning opportunities for students. This can include working with faculty to advertise internships; providing information on risk management issues such as harassment; and advising on best practices that lead to successful internship programs.
and secure part time employment. If you would like to post a part-time job in your office, please contact Monica Stuckey at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Career Services organizes two career fairs per year, one in the fall and spring semesters, and numerous information sessions each semester. Such events give our students and alumni an opportunity to network with employers to learn more about career opportunities. Some faculty will have their classes meet at the career fair to ensure that everyone attends while other faculty members offer an incentive to encourage students to participate in the career fairs. Typically there are at least 80 companies in attendance at each fair. For a listing of the companies registered for one of our career fairs, please contact Monica Stuckey.
On-Campus Interviews and Information Sessions
Employers visit our campus weekly to meet with prospective employees in a centralized location. Campus interview dates are available during the fall (Sept. – Nov.) and spring (Feb. – Apr.) semesters and are posted through Eagle Career Network. Information sessions are hosted by the employer and students are given an overview of the company, the career opportunities available and the application procedures for these opportunities. Please watch your email for our flyers announcing the employers that will visit our campus!
