The Career and Professional Development Center is committed to partnering with faculty and academic units to ensure student success inside and outside of the classroom. What follows is a list of services and resources we provide to help support all of the vital work you do for our students.

Career Spots Videos:  Short videos featuring how to guides to interviewing, networking, searching for a job and other hot career topics.

Career Profile Guide: A guide of all our programs and services, including resume tip sheets, interviewing strategies, and other resources to assist you in instructing on career skills.

Don't Cancel Class: Need to cancel class? Before you do, why not have the career center send a substitute to conduct a career workshop to prepare students for future jobs and internships.  For more information, contact Cierra Wilson.

Eagle Career Network:  Set up an an admin account with our Eagle Career Network/Handshake system.  With training your account will allow you to post and promote jobs, coordinate career events and interviews, send mass emails to students, and track student applications online in one central location.  For more information, please contact Catrina DosReis.

Get Involved

Career Fair Coach:  Volunteer at the career fair to assist students in navigating the fair and networking with companies.  Students attending the fair are often nervous and uncertain about what employers to speak to.  As a Career Fair Coach you can help them make the most of this event. Share Job Opportunities: Have a job or internship opportunity that you would like to share with students? Our office is the best resource for students to access all career opportunities. Please forward opportunities to us via email at nccucareerservices@nccu.edu

Inter-divisional Collaboration Committee: Our office works closely with faculty liaisons to develop and support career and professional development activities within their school or college.  We invite faculty liaisons to join the Inter-divisional Collaboration Committee to share ideas, programs, and activities to foster collaboration.  For more information, please contact Catrina DosReis.
