North Carolina Central University School of Education Research Symposium 2014

Description: STEMulating Teaching Practices:  Innovative Approaches for Addressing Standards-based Performances February 22, 2014
8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
H.M. Michaux Jr. Building All attendees must register but there is no cost for attending the conference. Follow this link for registration information: CLICK HERE TO REGISTER The symposium will combine the innovative practices of B-12 educators with the research of university faculty to share and discuss ideas that may advance STEM education and the delivery of the Common Core State and NC Essential Standards. The symposium will consist of five tracks:  Track 1: Birth -2nd grade; Track 2:  3rd grade – 5th grade; Track 3: Middle grades; Track 4:  High School; Track 5:  Exceptional Children This is an opportunity for professional development for all educators. Attendees may earn 0.5 CEU (for a $25 processing fee).
