Description: You are invited to attend the interactive workshop entitled, “Beyond the Filing Cabinet: Protecting Electronic Student and Employee Records.” This course is presented by the Office of Legal Affairs (Benita N. Jones, Assistant University Legal Counsel) and Information Technology Services (Zachary S. Mitcham, ITS Director of Security & Compliance).

Location: Hubbard-Totten Lecture Hall, Room 112

This workshop will focus on the state and federal laws protecting student and employee records, best practices for securing electronic records, and how to respond to incidents that may compromise the security of data stored in NCCU devices and accounts. Faculty members and others with instructional duties at NCCU are encouraged to attend.  Pre-register through the HR Training Catalog or through this link.
