Transfer SOAR is designed to assist with your transition into college life as an NCCU Eagle. As a transfer or non-traditional student (age 23 or over), you will complete many of the steps needed for enrollment such as meeting with an academic advisor, taking your student ID picture, attending educational workshops, and register for classes. You will also have the chance to meet other new and current Eagles in small groups hosted by our SOAR Leaders. All transfer, incoming students must attend one of the following sessions:

  Art Exhibits 2017

Another exciting New Horizons exhibition will open on May 2 in the NCCU Museum of Art. The best work from NCCU’s Department of Art along with work from Durham Technical Community College will be on display. Graduating seniors from the Department of Art will also be mounting their Senior Shows. Fabrienne Alexander, Jessica Brown, Kate Gunther,  Sha’Meire Jackson, Mia Little, Destiny Parker and Kiara Sanders will be exhibiting works from their portfolios. This exhibition will run from May 2 until August 7, 2017

First Year SOAR is designed to help ease your transition into college life as an NCCU Eagle. During orientation, you will complete many of the steps needed for enrollment such as meeting with an academic advisor, taking your student ID picture, and attending educational workshops. You will also have the chance to meet other new Eagles in small groups hosted by our SOAR Leaders. All first-year, incoming students must attend one of the following sessions:
