Favorite Part of NCCU

My favorite part about North Carolina Central University would have to be the family-oriented campus culture. The students are friendly and well-connected, as well as the professors. The faculty and staff are fully devoted to ensuring that each student is successful in every aspect of college life, and that separates NCCU from other institutions.

Favorite Memory

My favorite memory at NCCU would have to be Homecoming 2014 during my freshman year of college. The experience was amazing. I met alumni, attended concerts, comedy shows, step shows, and other events hosted by the Student Activities Board. Overall, I made memories for a lifetime.

Advice to Future Eagles

My advice to future Eagles is to take full advantage of opportunities presented to you by your professors, while also networking with professionals in the field you wish to pursue. Professors often present internship opportunities, tutoring schedules, and job openings.  As a student, you should accept these opportunities to make you a more competitive applicant for your future endeavors. Networking with professionals in your field will also make you a more competitive applicant.
