All undergraduate students applying for admission to North Carolina Central University must complete an online application form. Admissions decisions will be rendered based on the priority deadline in which you applied. Applications will not be reviewed or evaluated until they become complete (the application and all credentials have been received).
Applications received after the last priority deadline will be reviewed on a space available basis.
Official admission decisions are only communicated via US Mail or through the primary email account used during your application process. No admission decision will be given over the phone. You can also check your admissions status online by clicking here.

NCCU has the same minimum course requirements as all UNC System institutions. High school graduates are eligible for consideration if they successfully complete the following in grades 9-12:
Students who graduated from high school prior to 1990 should contact the Undergraduate Admissions Office to determine specific high school course requirements for admission.
All undergraduate applicants may be required to take various tests as a part of their orientation and the follow-up procedures of the university.
Students graduating from high school in 2006 and after must have one additional math course from the following: pre-calculus, statistics, calculus, integrated math level III, integrated math IV, discrete math, advanced models and functions, or any upper level International Baccalaureate math courses. Any Advanced Placement math courses and dual-enrollment math courses used toward graduation credit will count as well.
