How Do I update the campus directory

If you cannot view someone's photo, bio, or vita/resume in NCCU's Online Campus Directory (OCD), it is because that individual has not yet posted his or her information. In other words, only you can update your NCCU OCD Faculty-Staff profile. How? NCCU Web Services makes it easy!
 

  • Simply log in to the Intranet and click the "Profile" button (in the Personal Assistant pane)

  • Click the "Edit" link under your photo (even if it says "No Photo Available") to update you profile image. Photos must be in JPG format. For best results, crop and/or reduce your photos to 200 x 200 pixels. Windows users can do so using with a variety of tools (like MS Paint). Many prefer to use online graphics optimizers, such as Aviary, Pixlr, FotoFlexer.

  • Click the "Edit" link under the Contact Info within your profile. It goes to a web form which enables you to appropriately update your Contact and Emergency information. Make sure that info is accurate.

  • The "Edit" link next to the Biography section allows you to type any Biographical information you feel is appropriate. Also, you may cut and paste that text from another document into that form field.

  • The "Edit" link next to the Education links to a form that allows you to add/update a list degrees you have earned (including graduation year, school).

  • Finally, you can upload a PDF file into your Vita/Resume section. Detailed instructions for converting any document into a PDF files are also available within NCCU Knowledge Base.
