The NCCU Employment staff provides consultation and training regarding Merit Based Employment, and offers classroom training on effective recruitment and selection practices. NCCU Employment works closely with the Department's executive management staff to ensure that fair hiring practices are implemented resulting in a diverse and well-qualified workforce at each level of employment within the university. NCCU Employment seeks to build departmental recruitment efforts through participation in job fairs, enhanced media and marketing campaigns, and networking with professional organizations

Exempt Personnel Act (EPA) staffing is now a merged component of the DHR Employment Department and continues to provide comprehensive human resources services to EPA employees and faculty of North Carolina Central University.  As the university grows and develops in its mission to serve, the EPA staff continuously strive to provide efficient and customer friendly service for all aspects of the employment spectrum, including recruitment, salary administration and record keeping.

Another goal of the EPA employment staff is to ensure adherence to established recruitment guidelines for faculty and executive staff positions.  In creating a service environment where EPA personnel operations and documentation are handled rapidly and accurately, the office maintains its mission of serving as a “one stop shop” for EPA employment services.

Our vacancy announcements are continuously updated on the Internet. To ensure that your application is considered, we've created a guide, "How to Apply" for your review.  NCCU's EPA Hiring Processes are also available online.
