Quality Enhancement Plan

The Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is a requirement of the reaffirmation process by the Southern Association of College and Schools (SACS). More importantly, it is an opportunity to enhance the overall quality of the writing and speaking skills of NCCU students.

The four student learning outcomes are as follows:

  1. Students will create written documents that are well-organized and well- developed
  2. Students will demonstrate both oral and written critical thinking and analytical skills and appropriate use of technology
  3. Students will create written documents that engage cross-disciplinary ideas and audiences
  4. Students will confidently and articulately conduct oral presentations that are organized and developed that present and prove a clear thesis, and that make appropriate use of visual aids

NCCU complies with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in all programs and activities (including sexual harassment and sexual violence) in the University's educational programs and activities.
