The Eagle Card is your one-card access to a variety of campus services and facilities. Students receive a personal Eagle Card as part of their tuition. The Card is imprinted with their photo ID and provides access to campus dining rooms and dormitories. The Eagle Card is required for entry into many campus facilities and events. Students can elect to open an Eagle Express Account (EEA) which can serve as a truly convenient means of accessing campus services.
The Eagle Express Card is convenient, safe and fun to use. Accounts are easy to open. Just go by The NCCU Eagle Card Office between 8:30am-5:00pm daily, or order by mail or phone (919)530-7523. No worries about having enough change for vending and laundry machines. It offers you "CHARGE" PRIVILEGES for the NCCU Bookstore's great selection of supplies and personal needs. Reduces the need to carry cash or write checks. Budgeting of your expenses could't be easier. Account balance is shown with each transaction. Account balances carry over from semester to semester.

Frequently Asked Questions:
WHAT IS THE EAGLE EXPRESS ACCOUNT (EEA)?
The EEA is a declining balance program that works like a credit card by allowing access to campus facilities and activities by deducting from the amount that you deposit!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Your EagleCard is already electronically encoded to give you access to campus events and fee-supported activities. Your University ID converts into a debit card (the Eagle Card) that enables you to purchase such items as books from the bookstore, snacks from the vending machines, and you can even use the card to pay for tickets to theatre productions and campus events!
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
All students - on or off campus. All faculty and staff.
HOW DO YOU APPLY?
Stop by the Eagle Card Office, Room 203, WG Pearson Annex (8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Mon. Wed.- Fri. or 8:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Tues.) to complete an application. You can also mail in your deposit or you can apply by phone to (919)530-7523. Deposits can be in the form of cash, check, Visa or MasterCard.
ADDITIONAL DEPOSITS?
YES! Once an account has been opened, additional deposits of $5.00 or more may be made at the Eagle Card Office.
LOST OR STOLEN ID CARDS!
Report your lost or stolen card immediately to the Eagle Card Office. Your account will be validated to protect your balance. Unauthorized charges prior to validation are your responsibility. There is a $20 fee to replace your ID card.
HOW DOES IT DIFFER FROM THE MEAL PLAN?
The Meal Plan and the EEA are available to all students, faculty and staff. All undergraduate and graduate students living on campus are required to have a meal plan, which allows them to use their ID cards only in the W.G. Pearson Cafeteria. The Meal Plan is optional for off campus students. The Eagle Express Account can be used at other food locations such as the Deli and Eagle's Nest. Students, faculty, and staff who live on or off campus can obtain an Eagle Express Account.
WHERE CAN I USE IT?
The EAGLE CARD can be used for:
- Dormitory Access
- Pearson Cafeteria
- NCCU Bookstore ( For students receiving aid, only during specified periods)
- Walker Athletic Complex
