The offices of Administration and Finance are charged with insuring that our university’s financial transactions comply with all applicable state, federal and UNC System rules and regulations. Noncompliance with those rules and regulations could result in audit findings, adverse publicity, high level investigations and inquiries into suspected “improprieties”, and/or the ultimate sanction, the loss of financial flexibility, which would entail direct supervision of our university’s finances by outside agencies.
