Dimensions of Learning

Through Dimensions of Learning, a freshman introductory course designed to educate new incoming students about NCCU’s history, and success during and after college, over 1300 students are prepared to successfully explore their new college experience. The course adequately prepares students to achieve personal, social and academic success in college and beyond.  The dimensions of learning emphasis’s includes civic, social, and professional responsibilities; history and heritage of North Carolina Central University; effective communication; career development; critical thinking and problem-solving information technology; and basic tools of research.
