The aim of the Department of Environmental, Earth and Geospatial Sciences
is to develop in students the analytical and methodological skills
necessary to understand the earth's environment and man’s impact on the
environment. It supports the educational needs of students seeking to
develop skills in environmental disciplines, general and applied
geography and other earth sciences. EEGS promotes the creation and
application of new knowledge and prepares students for entry-level and
mid-career level positions as well as the pursuit of advanced
education. The department provides continuing programs of research
training for undergraduate, graduate, and non-traditional students in
the disciplines covered by the department. Consistent with the mission
of the University, faculty, staff and students in the department engage
in scholarly, creative and service activities which benefit the global
community. Contact Us:
