The new, state-of-the-art Nursing Building is a welcome addition to the North Carolina Central University campus. The 25,000-square-foot building provides ample space and advanced learning technologies to help students develop into nursing professionals for the 21st century.

The Lobby is the heart of the new Nursing Building. This high-traffic area will house the reception desk and waiting areas for students, faculty and visitors.

Auditorium — $250,000
Room 1110
The auditorium will be home to many learning events and presentations. This space has 203 stadium-style seats, each equipped with power outlets for laptops and other electronic devices. The auditorium has a fully integrated audio and visual system for professional presentations and events.

These three training rooms are state-of-the-art clinical labs where students practice the skills they have learned in the classroom. There are multiple hospital bays equipped with anatomically correct human patient simulators, functioning medical gas lines and medical supplies. These lab spaces provide hands-on learning experiences to prepare students for direct patient care.
