WELCOME to the Department of Nursing Office of Continuing Education. We believe that individuals are involved in a lifelong learning process and through education nurses can change and strengthen their level of practice to meet the needs of clients with complex health needs in the twenty-first century. The Continuing Education Program in the Department of Nursing at North Carolina Central University is an approved provider of continuing education by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Commission on Accreditation.
Goals:
- Offer a diverse array of courses and programs that provide theoretical and practical occupational knowledge for improved patient care, career advancement and job satisfaction.
- Offer high quality instruction using a variety of delivery formats including online teaching.
