About the Graduate and Undergraduate Research Symposium
North Carolina Central University (NCCU) invites all NCCU students to attend and participate in the Annual Graduate and Undergraduate Research Symposium (GURS) to be held on NCCU campus on April 11 and 12, 2014. The symposium is aimed at both graduate and undergraduate students at North Carolina Central University who engages in research experiences and provides for them a venue to communicate and disseminate their research findings to a professional audience. This educational and networking experience encourages interdisciplinary exchange and brings together students from different disciplines.
The theme for the symposium is Excellence in Research and Innovation. North Carolina Central University takes pride in preparing our students for success academically and professionally and cultivates scholarly inquiry and excellence in research towards discovery and breakthrough that lead to innovation that enhance quality of life.
The Annual Graduate and Undergraduate Research Symposium is sponsored by The School of Graduate Studies, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Behavior and Social Sciences, School of Library Information Sciences, Department of Nursing and the Graduate Students Association.
The event is free to NCCU students and faculty and all participants must register.
