Accounting is a major designed for students preparing for careers in public, private, and government accounting. The curriculum and related courses are designed to provide students with the accounting background necessary for understanding the broad operational aspects of a business organization, as well as an in-depth understanding of accounting theory and concepts, preparation and interpretation of financial statements, and techniques of financial analysis. The Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree program with a major in accounting requires the satisfactory completion of the specified curriculum.
