We strive to deliver an excellent academic marketing program to students; we deliver an academic experience that engages our research and helps students to develop strong competencies in marketing. We want to inform the practice of marketing by providing an understanding of the customers and stakeholders who interact with marketing services, products, companies, selling environment, and brands.
To generate successful marketing, the marketing manager now must be masters of psychology, sociology, culture studies, and economics while aligning their strategies with organizational business models and plans.
The AMA is the largest marketing association in North America; it is a professional association for individuals and organizations involved in the practice, teaching, and study of marketing worldwide.
The NCCU Chapter of the AMA is an active student club, and it is open to all University students. The Chapter participates in campus and community activities which tend to improve knowledge of marketing theory and marketing skills. Also, the local Chapter is connected to a global network of experienced marketers, including leading marketing teachers, researchers, and practitioners.
