| Graduate Student Phil Martin Talks About Sheat Wave Splitting |
A number of DEEGS students presented their work at the NCCU College of Science and Technology Symposium on Friday, April 13th. Students presented either posters or gave oral presentations on their work with a DEEGS faculty advisor. Work by DEEGS students included topics on shear wave splitting, urban heat islands, nano metal toxicity and SAR (Synthetic Aperature Radar). This low-key was excellent preparation as a number of graduate students prepare to defend their dissertations and present at larger conference.
