A number of DEEGS students presented their work at the NCCU College of Science and Technology Symposium on Friday, April 13^th.  Students presented either posters or gave oral presentations on their work with a DEEGS faculty advisor.  Work by DEEGS students included topics on shear wave splitting, urban heat islands, nano metal toxicity and SAR (Synthetic Aperature Radar).  This low-key was excellent preparation as a number of graduate students prepare to defend their dissertations and present at larger conference.
