Dr. Jarvis A. Hall is Associate Professor of Political Science at North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina. Also, he is Director of the Institute for Civic Engagement and Social Change at North Carolina Central. Prior to becoming director of the Institute, Dr Hall chaired the Department of Political Science from 1998 to 2005. In addition, he served as Director of the Academic Community Service Learning Program for two years at NCCU.
