Information Policy and Management Certificate

The School of Library and Information Science's Certificate in Information Policy and Management focuses on technology and emerging trends in the information professions. It is designed for librarians and other information professionals who want to update or upgrade their professional knowledge and expand their skills in a short time. Students who hold a degree in any discipline are eligible to enroll in the certificate program.

Students who hold a degree in any discipline are eligible to enroll in the certificate program. Students seeking to do graduate work at the School of Library and Information Sciences must be formally admitted to the School by the Dean. The applicant must hold a degree (or the equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree) from an accredited institution. Students must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.7 for all academic work. Note: Students who already hold an MIS from NCCU SLIS are ineligible for this program.
