This annual conference is dedicated to educating the NCCU community on best practices and research in college student development, student affairs, and enrollment management.
This year's theme is "Soaring on the Legacy: A Focus on Civic Engagement in Higher Education." This year's theme is "Soaring on the Legacy: A Focus on Civic Engagement in Higher Education." We hope to dedicate this year's conference to the mission of the national organization Campus Compact which "develops students' citizenship skills, helps campuses forge effective community partnerships, and provides resources and training for faculty seeking to integrate civic and community-based learning into the curriculum."
Keynote Speaker:

Conference Learning Objectives
1. Participants will gain an understanding of the definition and tenants of Civic Engagement.
2. Participants will gain an understanding of approaches that can be used by academic affairs and student affairs professionals to implement effective student engagement efforts.
3. Participants will discover successful ways to engage students in Civic Engagement activities/coursework.
