Students who wish to transfer to North Carolina Central University with advanced standing must comply with the following requirements for admission:
Submit a completed application for admission by the application deadline date. A $30.00 (non-refundable) application fee must accompany the application.
Have official transcripts of work completed at all institutions previously attended sent to the Undergraduate Admissions Office. An official high school transcript or GED must also be submitted.
Present a statement from a college official concerning the condition of leaving the last institution and of the student's eligibility to return to it. This form will be provided to the student upon application to NCCU.
Submit an immunization record to Student Health Services verifying that all immunization requirements have been met.
Provide results of formal placement programs and assessments such as Advanced Placement, College Level Examination Program, etc.
Applications for admission with transfer standing should be made early enough to permit the Undergraduate Admissions Office to evaluate the work done by the student and to award the credit before the student enters NCCU. This early application will make it possible to determine accurately the requirements remaining to be met and to avoid unnecessary duplication of courses.
