Degree Offered: Master of Arts (M.A.) with concentration in either clinical or general
Program Description: The 49-semester-hour clinical concentration is designed primarily to prepare persons who plan to engage in the practice of psychology and in the provision of health services as defined by the North Carolina Psychology Practice Act. The 30-semester-hour general concentration prepares persons for positions for which psychological knowledge is important, and prepares persons who expect to continue graduate study leading to the doctorate.
Required Standardized Test: GRE
Minimum Admissions Requirements: In addition to an acceptable GRE, applicants must submit transcripts showing completion of an undergraduate degree in psychology or in an allied field. The degree must be from an accredited institution of higher learning and the applicant must have an acceptable GPA.
